Visiting the Synagogue
The Bratislava Jewish Community Museum opens the new season on June 1, 2025. Group tours to the synagoguge museum can be arranged at tajomnik@znoba.sk.
Regular religious (Orthodox) services are held on Shabbat and during major Jewish holidays. Jewish visitors wishing to join religious services are kindly requested to contact the Jewish community office at memorial@znoba.sk in advance and to bring their ID with them.
The Heydukova Street Synagogue in Bratislava is an active house of Jewish worship. Visitors must adopt modest dress while visiting. Men must not wear shorts, and they must keep their heads covered with a hat or cap. Women must not wear shorts, and preferably should wear a long skirt or trousers and long sleeves.
